mother-land officially opened last Saturday—thank you all for joining us!
The opening was filled with inspiring conversations and exchanges, where the artist herself shared her creative process, sparking further reflections and dialogue among the audience.

Following WU Chia Yun’s recognition as a laureate of the 2025 Dior Photography and Visual Arts Award for Young Talents, this exhibition marks the first presentation of mother-land in Taiwan. The show brings together three series—mother-land, A Journey without Body, and Did you See—highlighting WU’s ongoing exploration of the spaces between “snapshot and narrative” and “ chance and experiment.” Through deconstructing and reconstructing visual space, she disrupts and merges individuality, placing images from different times and places into a state of suspension, fully showcasing her remarkable artistic vitality.
