UP Gallery officially represents Anastasia Samoylova in Asia

Anastasia Samoylova’s first solo exhibition in Asia with UP Gallery concluded successfully last month. We are delighted to announce that the gallery will officially represent Anastasia Samoylova in Asia. We look forward to seeing the artist bring forth more great works in the future.
Samoylova, born in Russia and currently residing and creating in the United States, earned her master’s degree from the Russian State University for the Humanities in Moscow in 2007 and later obtained a Master of Fine Arts from Bradley University in 2011.” ) is a Russian-born American artist who moves between observational photography and studio practice. In 2007 she earned an MA in Russian State University for the Humanities and in 2011 an MFA from Bradley University. Her work explores notions of environmentalism, consumerism, and the picturesque. Recent exhibitions include Fundación Mapfre; C/O Berlin; Eastman Museum; Chrysler Museum of Art; The Photographer’s Gallery, London; Kunst Haus Wien; History Miami Museum; and Museum of Fine Arts, Le Locle. In 2022 Samoylova was shortlisted for the Deutsche Börse Photography Foundation Prize. Her work is in the collections at the Perez Art Museum, Miami; the High Museum of Art, Atlanta, and the Museum of Contemporary Photography, Chicago; among others. Published monographs include Image Cities (Fundación Mapfre / Hatje Cantz, 2023), Floridas (Steidl, 2022), and FloodZone (Steidl, 2019).
